MEET five floors high

A brilliant AI + Human artist and composer producing some of the most incredible, unique and memorable AI-augmented music out there.

Five Floors High is one of my favorite new AI + Human artists out there right now. The music feels experimental, but yet so grounded and relatable. The lyrics and theming, all written by FFH, shine through the crowdy streets of AI-produced music and stand out as a shining gem.

The first track I heard was “Hey!”, my curiosity was immediately peaked. From the first few rhythmic boings at the opening, I knew this music was going to stand out as different from the pack. But it wasn’t until I heard the catchy hook, “Hey!”, followed up by a string of references to various amusement park attractions, that I was hooked… hook, line and sinker. FFH’s use of the male / female vocal one-two punch is brilliant, and it really knocks it out of the park with the follow-up “Sunsets and Ice Cream”, which is quickly becoming one of my favorites of this artist. Suffice it to say that I would not be disappointed if that vocal duo emerges as a full Persona pair in the future — no pressure FFH 😉 But we want more!

Five Floors High’s greatest strength manifests itself in his diversity and eclectic mix of genres in his compositions. The melodies are always compelling and often downright infectious, from “Funny Little Crosses” and “Nothing Like You”, to “Alien”, “Last Time”, “Train Wreck”, and a beautiful piano bit, “Monday”. Each song tells a story that brings the music to life.

Furthermore, FFH has been known to directly infuse his own guitar work into the mix to really polish of that human element. It works wonderfully. I could go on about each song separately, but I’ll let you discover the music for yourself.
