All lyrics written by JBoyWii
With the exception of the track Everything, all music, melodies, and instrumentation was prompted, composed, arranged and produced in Suno.ai by JBoyWii, with additional editing, mixing and production in BandLab for selected tracks.
The track Everything was written and initially recorded in 2002 by JBoyWii. The original demo track was imported into Suno.ai, where it was further prompted, edited, remixed and arranged in its final form and with its final AI-generated vocal performance using various Suno.ai personas, giving the song that special Sadie Winters treatment.
The tracks Hush, Stardust Baby, More or Less, Ghosts and Stones, The Losing End, Harbor, The Weight of Missing Out, and a variant version of Pop Dystopia (previously titled Farsight in its demo form) were all written during a magical week and a half stay in a small VRBO the Oregon Coast in July 2025.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS AND NOTES
I just wanted to thank all the amazing supporters from my YouTube channel who continually supported me as I started releasing these tracks, and most especially my wife who convinced me not to throw in the towel. Thank you for pushing me to complete this album. Thank you for the positive feedback, and also thanks to those who offered sometimes brutal criticism. I know this style of music, and AI-assisted music in general is not everyone’s cup of tea. I honestly never thought it would be mine either. Well, at least not the AI part. This albums style of music I have loved for quite some time. I’m a sucker for catchy pop hooks, attention grabbing guitar riffs, beautiful and unexpected harmonies, and the endless reservoir of atmospheric indie pop, electropop, shoegaze, dreampop, and whatever tends to “pop” in my ears. I’m a huge fan of a well crafted female voice, including from amazing bands and artists like Daughter, Dizzy, Fleurie, Chvrches, The Innocence Mission, Late Night Alumni, Alix Page, Tiny Deaths, Goldfrapp, Cannons, Young Summer, Kate Havnevik, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams and Harriet Wheeler from the Sundays, to name a few. But the most interesting and satisfying part of this project was taking the various musical ideas initially arranged by Suno and then wading them through a wide variety of other genres to see what comes out on the other end. There were several “Holy Crap!” moments when everything seemed to click into place. I knew then that this whole AI music moment is not what many people think. It does not need to dull creativity. If allowed, and used properly, with human direction and genuine input, it can unleash it. At least it did for me. I for one am very excited about the future of music. Will AI kill human art? Never. Will I ever stop supporting the amazing big label and independent artists who inspire of all this? Never. Do I have a greater appreciation for music as a medium to connect with other souls? I do. Is this album both happy and depressing? It sure is. But it was what came out of me, and now its out for you to either enjoy or hate. I’m fine with either reaction. It’s what makes music so much fan, and personalized to each of us. It’s more or less gonna be okay.
P.S. Ironically enough, my musical roots stem way back to a long haul of 80’s sunset strip hair bands and their hooky anthems and power ballads. Go figure. I can’t explain that connection any better than you. But I am a fan of an already huge and every growing variety of genres, and I look forward to my next project. Who knows, maybe I’m not done with Sadie Winters. Time will tell. Thanks again everyone! Peace and love. // JBoyWii
