Now that JBoyWii’s debut album for the virtual AI Persona Sadie Winters has wrapped and been released, it’s time to catch up on some fan fiction for Sadie that was created by one of her YouTube fans. While awaiting her debut album release, @squatch545 fills us all in on his virtual bio:

Sadie Winters, 26, hails from upstate New York just outside Rochester. Sadie was musically inclined from an early age, learning piano at her grandmother’s knee. She later sang in local choirs and taught herself guitar. While in high school, Sadie won a state-wide poetry contest awarded to youth under 18. This inspired her to combine poetry with music and she began writing her own songs. Sadie often spent summers with her cousins in Austin, TX where they had an acreage. After graduating, Sadie worked for a catering company in Rochester, but was laid off during the pandemic. She decided to go back down to Austin to work on her music. With the help of her cousin, she got a job in the mailroom of a large law firm. At night, she busked the streets of Austin. One evening, she happened to be spotted by the friend of a popular music producer and YouTube personality, who told her she had talent and gave her his business card. Sadie waited a few months, then flew to Atlanta. “When she came to visit me, she just wanted to know whether her songs were any good”, recalls the producer. “I told her they were pretty good, but that I don’t produce anymore. She really wanted to work with me, and wouldn’t take no for an answer. So finally, I said I would only produce one song that she could use as a demo. Sadie was like a caged wild animal waiting to be released — she had so many songs. We picked Walking Away since it was her most recent song written fresh off a broken relationship. Well, it turned out to be more than just a demo, as I ended up producing and engineering it. The rest is history.”
